The Villa Kimon is part of the Helidonia villa group and is a lovely 2 bedroom villa just outside the village of Pigi near Rethymnon on the west side of Crete.

The villa has its own private pool and is only about 5km from the main beaches in the area. The village of Pigi has enough to keep you stocked up on food and it has a handful of interesting places to visit around the area.

Location of the Villa

The owner will welcome you on your arrival at Helidonia Villas (any day and time). Having difficulties to spot the accommodation please inform us by mail on forehand and we will lead you to your holiday home from the village Platanes, leaving the highway.

The airports Heraklion and Chania are at a distance of 75 km. Take the highway to Rethymnon and leave it at the sign stating “Arkadi-Platanes”'.

Then follow the direction to Arkadi, you will pass the village Adele and further the village Pigi. After 150 m turn right to the direction “Mesy”. Along this road you will find the Helidonia Villas at your left side after the second turn.

A long sandy beach can be found at approximately 5 kilometres with local bars & restaurants. Water sports are available in the summer months. The holiday villa is located on the road to the village of Aghios Dimitrios in a peaceful and beautiful countryside area.

Rethymnon with it's pretty, often vibrant Venetian port and old town is approximately 12km away; offering bus services to Heraklion/Knossos, Chania and Samaria Gorge, all roughly an hour away. Lake Kournas is about 20 minutes away and is well worth a visit. Arkadi monastery, well known for it's history is a short drive away.

Shopping facilities for everyday's necessities can be found at the neighbouring village of Pigi at a walking distance of 300 meter providing butcher, baker and a grocery shop, tavern and internet cafe. Larger supermarkets, including a LIDL, can be found on your way to the beach resort "Platanes" at a distance of 4, 5 km

Suitable For

The owner of the villa has stated that the property is suitable for; families, couples, older travellers and smokers. Bookings are confirmed on receipt of a non returnable deposit of 20%. Balance is payable 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Payment by bank transfer to Greek bank account.
