Location of the Villa

Villa Aris is located outside the village of Elia. Elia is located 15 km away from Heraklion, while the Heraklion airport is 12 km away. The closest beach is 4 km away from Elia. There are two super markets, one butcher shop and a bakery.

This area of Crete is lovely and quiet and the more traditional side of Crete. If your looking to get off the tourist trail then this Villa is a brilliant choice.

Being close to Heraklion means you have the opportunity to visit the palace of Knossos, visit the many museums in Heraklion and of course go shopping in the many local and designers stores.

From Heraklion airport drive to the Highway and in the direction of Agios Nikolaos. A few meters after the SHELL petrol station take the exit to Karteros / Episkopi.

At the end of the exit turn left and drive under the Highway. You will arrive at the junction with the old Highway, where you, again, turn left in the direction to Heraklion. After ca. 400 m turn left again at the Karteros Hotel in the the direction of Elia / Episkopi and drive straight on and under the bridge in direction of Episkopi.

Follow this road upwards and after ca 4.5 km you will see Villa Aris on the right hand side.

Keep on driving the Highway from Chania or Rethymnon and when you get out of Heraklion (always driving on the Highway), follow the instructions from "From Heraklion airport".

Suitable For

The owner of Aris Villas has stated that the property is suitable for children and of course families and single travellers. A hire car is needed if your looking to get to Villa Aris.
