To get to Sougia is best to hire a car, although there are buses than run from Chania on an irregular basis. Its about 75km from the town f Chania, so your best setting out early to get to this wonderful fishing village.
Heading back to the village of Sougia after a long day on its beach or walking round the hills and mountains ,means you will need to get something to eat and relax with a glass of wine and ponder your next trip or sightseeing excursion.
There are some excellent Tavernas within Sougia, try the little Taverna of Anchorage, or Galini if your looking for a mix of European and Greek food.
