Me and 2 other freinds visited Happy days for the first time last year and the holiday was immense! The staff here are really good and not like we heard in other reviews, the security is a bit harsh always getting us to be quiet but we understood after a few nights after talking with the barman that its the old town of Malia and you have to be a bit quieter at 4 in the morning LOL! We rolled up the street chanting so I can see their point - after that dimitre was a legend with us - he didnt speak much english but we always had a laugh when we got back

The pool here was top notch, spent may a day having fun with the “other guests” ie the girls around the pool and was a good place to pull during the day, chat em up and take them out at night. We even got lucky and had a huge BBQ for one of my mates 18th birthday while we were their and we all did fancy dress and played some nuts drinking games with the staff!

The place overall was very clean didnt really have any complaints about the room, the maids come in regular and cleaned up, we were on the top floor so had some good views over the pool, it was just nice waking up to sun and not the british weather!

Will probably be back next year! Malia overall is the nuts!

8 welsh girls hit Malia not knowing what to expect - we had heard good and bad things about Malia and werent to sure. When we got to happy day we were suprised that the bar was still open so got straight in there and had a few drinks then went to bed. The rooms are hot but we didnt pay for the extra air conditioning and left our windows open most nights! Got bitten to death by mossies so we had to keep splashing on the sprays and creams.

We had a welcome meeting with warren who was a right laff, we booked up on his bar crawl and had one of the best nights in our 2 weeks - we wanted to do the booze cruise but Amy was afraid of the sea so we didn’t go.

The rooms are place are nice enough, we were expecting it to be a be a bit basic but it wasn’t - they had hairdryers and Tvs in the room so it was all good. Next year we will have to save some more money if we want to go to Malia again tho as the drinks on the strip were like £5 for 2 cocktails which wasnt so good so we just got guys to buy us drinks all nite! Fab holiday and nice hotel!!

First time ive visited Happy Days and will be back for more in 2010! Already Booked for July 2010 now and the 16 of us are coming back again!!!! The bar here is open like 24 hours a day and they do the biggest pints and cocktails I have ever seen. The barman Chris 1 and 2 are legends and we spent most of our time in that bar!

The rooms are kept clean and tidy, even though we tried stopping the maids coming in they still managed to wake us early every morning! The dont speak much english so we just let them get on with it!

The strip isnt too far away, it took us 5 minutes or so to stagger down after getting wasted at the pool bar. Met a few groups of lads from back home and had a bar crawl of our own, Malia strip is mental with allt he PRS trying to drag you in, but we haggled and got buy one get 3 free, a fishbowl and shots!

Be back to cause havoc again 2010!!

The staff @ happy days were brill made us feel very welcome (watch out for demitres, "get into your scotland") lol the hotel is just a stroll to the strip and 15 mins from the beach, the food in the hotel was fab, it was the only place I could eat, it may perhaps be because i had whisky for breakfast everyday I dont know. Would recommend Happy Days to any1 who was looking for a jumping holiday in Greece.

I know for certain I will be back.

Just back from Malia, Happy Days was absolutely fantastic and i wasn't even staying there, although my friends were, i went they’re everyday used the bar/restaurant and the pool.

It was very clean, the food was great and the service was amazing i will defiantly be going back there and staying they’re myself this time!!

I was in my friends room and it was nice and had air conditioning which u will def need!

Big Chris wee Chris, Georgia and Deana were all great ppl, never met people as friendly and entertaining.

DO NOT MISS THE BBQ NIGHT!!! It was my best night i had the whole week!

Roll on next year cant wait to go back miss all the staff at happy days so much already!!

To all the single girls just watch wee Chris lol he loves his women!! ah only joking he's lovely, really nice guy! Don’t have one fault with the place, everything u need is at the resort and it is 10 mins walk from the main strip and a nice walk it is and very safe area!

LOVE TO BIG CHRIS WEE CHRIS GEORGIA AND ALL THE CLAN, BEST HOLIDAY I HAVE HAD IN MY LIFE, VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL PPL, FELT LIKE HOME FROM HOME. BARS AND NITELIFE FAB, FOOD TERRIFIC, NOT A BAD MEAL FROM I GOT THERE. VERY EASY TO GET TO MAIN STRIP, HIRED A QUAD BETWEEN MYSELF AND FRIEND LINDA VERY CHEAP TO RUN. GOT US EVERYWHERE. I HAD A BALL LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT, AND THE STAFF SO FRIENDLY YOU WERE GUARANTEED A LAUGH AROUND THE POOL. FOOD GREAT TOO. NEVER A DULL MOMENT. I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK AND I WILL MAKE SURE IM STAYING IN HAPPY DAYS, ROOM BASIC AND CLEAN JUST WOT WE NEEDED, SOMEWHERE TO GET THE HEAD DOWN WHEN NEEDED. My four mates and I had a wicked time at Happy Days. There was always a great atmosphere around the pool, with everyone laughing & joking about. We met so many really nice people. If you're after a fun, light-hearted and memorable holiday, I'd recommend these apartments.

Happy Days is a brilliant place to stay. The staff are excellent, really friendly and accommodating and the food from the bar is lovely.

Happy Days was amazing probably the best holiday ever had. Lil Chris and Big Chris were amazing. Great food at the bar pool always clean and for the rooms I thought they were basic and perfect, I thought they were clean and the maiden asked every other day if she could clean the room but half the times was still asleep. The Greek night is good and the food amazing. Overall thought it was a quality holiday.

Happy Days Studios are just 40 minutes drive from Heraklion airport and you can book a taxi at 40 euros before you travel.

Happy Days Studios are just 5 minutes walk to the main strip of Malia where you will find all the bars and clubs.

The studios & apartments have a mini market onsite but the nearest supermarket is 2 minutes walk away.

The main Malia beach is about 20 minutes walk from Happy Days Studios & Apartments.
