Dimitris Apartments -
These apartments are quite modern and large, with all the basic you would expect to find like cooking rings, fridge and air conditioning.
The pool is is huge and you will find yourself staying here rather than attempting the walk to the beach. The bar stays open into the early evening and does all manner of snacks and food.
The family that run it are lovely people and go out of their way to help you out.
Choose this hotel is you want to be a bit further out of the main strip to enjoy some sleep, or you just don’t like the beach.
These are great apartments, the family who run this are soooo helpful with anything you need.
The rooms are quite modern and spacious, although I seen a few smaller ones during my stay there. The pool where most of the rooms overlook is huge and very deep with a nice pool bar,
Drinks are quite cheap at the pool bar, although you can always get cheaper by buying at the supermarket down the road. Although they wont let you drink your own drinks at the poolside... Bit strange.
The only downside to this hotel is its location, right at the top of Malia hill,
is ok walking down the hill but an absolute nightmare walking back after the beach
or a night out. Can hire a moped or quad to make it easier like we did or just jump
in a taxi every night, although this could work out quite expensive.
I wouldn't recommend
these apartments to older people or people who have walking disabilities. Other
than that go for it!!!!
