Suites is like staying in your own private villa. Aloni Suites are set in the wonderful
village of Horafakia which is it on the Akrotiri Peninsula near the city of Chania.
These are popular suites for their location and friendly family welcome from the
staff.
The suites and rooms here are out of this world and truly stunning for self
catering apartments, taking a holiday here is like having your own little private
villa in Greece. The apartments are set on a hill and have excellent views over
Horafakia and are only a short distance to the local beaches around the Akrotiri
peninsula.
The rooms have private suites upstairs from the main living room and kitchen,
the kitchen include an oven, cooking hob, microwave and cooking utensils. The lounge
area has a comfortable sofa, television and space to chill out and relax.
The complex
has 2 large pools, Jacuzzi, sauna, gym and games room. Aloni suites has everything
a family would need to enjoy a relaxing break in the west of Crete.

We enjoyed
our holiday at Aloni suites, it didnt take us too long to get here via taxi and was
inexpensive, they did offer us a transfer but we thought the taxi would work out
cheaper so went with that. The place is set in the countryside and its like an oasis
in the desert. We were shown to our room which was huge -
The
pool are was very nice and quiet with only a few other people staying at the same
time as us, so there was no need to get up at the crack of dawn to get our towels
on the sunbeds. The family that own the place made us feel right at home and we
spend many an evening chatting away with the barman, discussing everything from the
euro to farming goats!
The beach was a drive away and lucky that we got some car hire
ordered otherwise it would of been a heck of a walk, the beach was pretty basic and
not like the ones you find on the Costa del Sol full of people and sunbeds, its much
more relaxed with lots of space for us to spread out.
We visited a few places in Horafakia
and the taverns were very nice and the food was cheap too, I think they dont get
so many tourists here but they treat you like royalty with excellent manners and
very good service in the places we visited.
We are hoping to visit this area again,
and will try to book into Aloni suites again.

The Aloni apartments are so good, clean, child friendly,
adult friendly and peaceful we have just booked again for July 2007. The apartments
are only 10-

It is always great to arrive somewhere and find it better than expectations.
The creche staff are fantastic and we felt completely confidant in their care of
our son. The manager and owners are very helpful. The apartments are simple but adequately
equipped and clean and with fantastic sunset views. There are several beaches within
10 min drive all child friendly especially the small Tersanas beach. The Taverna
near the apartments (Bahar) is excellent and there are at least 4 others within 10
mins drive. The snack bar at Aloni is also good for daytime/early evening dining
and drinking! A great holiday.
We are already thinking of a return trip!!

we booked this through 'simply travel' as wanted to
use crèche facilities for our 22 month old. excellent apartment complex with great
pool for kids. creche was fantastic, british staff and you could use it for as little
or as long as you liked. apartments spotless and quite basic but with great views
and we had two large terraces. could have done with a microwave. three minute drive
from tersanas and stavros beaches which were blue flag beaches with simple tavernas.
Maria's at sunset beach apartments best for food. we could have saved money by booking
last minute rather than a few months before.
Aloni Suites are just 15 minutes taxi drive from Chania Airport and taxi’s can be
booked before travel.
Horafakia is a quite village but has some nice restaurants and a few bars which are
just a few minutes walk away.
The local beaches are a 5 minute drive or 20 minute
walk, but you are rewarded with quiet beaches and crystal clear blue water. Chania
is just 20 minutes drive away so your well placed for a quiet holiday but next to
it all.
